Description
Fat Analyzer
Fat Analyzer Soxtec 8000 and Hydrotec Hydrolysis unit is one of the laboratory equipment that is the first fully automatic solution for total fat analysis by Soxhlet method.
Consisting of an extraction unit, a hydrolysis unit and a single Hydrocap filter shared by both units, the Soxtec 8000 allows hydrolysis and Soxhlet analysis to be performed in an integrated laboratory process.
Other advances in fat analysis automation include a solvent dosing screen to improve safety and minimize operator time. Smart water cooling only kicks in when really needed, self-adjusting heating plates ensure optimal heat transfer to the extraction cups, and hot plates can be switched off individually.
Fat Analyzer 8000 extraction unit is a fully automated system for fast and safe determinations of extractable matter. For total fat analysis, the Hydrocap filter is transferred from the hydrolysis unit to the extraction unit which then performs the four extraction steps boiling, rinsing, solvent recovery and auto shut down, fully unattended.
Advantages Fat Analyzer
Improved throughput at lower cost
The unique filter system that goes all the way through hydrolysis to final extraction allows users to avoid filter to filter transfer. This saves time and labor and avoids the risk of human error and associated costs. An optional extra six-position unit in the extraction stage allows batch handling of up to 12 samples using the same control unit. Plus, the auto shut-off feature eliminates hours of work.Safe operation
Safety features improve on existing automated Soxhlet solutions. Features such as an enclosed solvent dosing system and effective cooling help prevent contact with solvents, chemicals or fumes, and the design of the extraction unit also allows for the use of a wide range of tested solvents, including some Those that are considered unsafe if used with them.Specifications Fat Analyzer
