Backlit LC display
The HI981954 features a backlit graphic LCD
with on-screen help and the ability to
display up to nine parameters simultaneously.
The graphic display allows the use of virtual
buttons to create an intuitive user interface.
Automatic temperature compensation
The integrated temperature sensor enables
automatic temperature compensation of the pH value
and conductivity measurements.
Waterproof protection
Housed in an IP67 rated case, the meter
can withstand
immersion in water at a depth of 1m for up to
30 minutes. The probe has an IP68
rating for continuous water immersion
Dedicated help button
Context sensitive help is always available through a
dedicated “HELP” button. Clear tutorial messages
and instructions are available on screen to guide users through setup and calibration
quickly and easily .
The help information
displayed is relative to the setting/optio
GLP data
HI981954 includes a GLP feature that allows users to view calibration data
and calibration and
run information at the touch of a button.
Calibration data includes date, time, buffers/
standards used for calibration, and slope
characteristics.
PC connection
Recorded data can be transferred to a
Windows compatible PC using the included HI920015
micro USB cable and software HI9298194.
Digital probe with quick connector
The HI7698195 probe features a Quick
Connect DIN connector that provides water protection
to the gauge.
Long battery life
The meter display has a battery
icon indicator to show the remaining power.
The meter uses four 1.5V AA batteries that provide
up to 360 hours of battery life.
Color-coded, field-replaceable
sensors
Sensor replacement is quick and easy with field –
interchangeable, screw-on connectors that are
color-coded for easy identification of sensor connections
data logging
The HI981954 allows users to store up to
45,000 continuous or on-demand
samples with recording intervals from 1
second to 3 hours.
Standard or quick calibration
Quick Calibration provides a quick one
-point calibration for pH and conductivity.
Standard pH calibration options are available for
calibration of up to three points from a choice
of five standard buffers and one custom buffer.
Conductivity calibration is a single point from six
standard choices or a custom standard.
Intuitive keypad
The built-in rubber keypad has dedicated keys
for power, backlight, up/down arrows, help,
and alphanumeric characters. The meter
has two virtual softkeys that navigate
the user through configuring each
parameter, setting up the meter, and logging the data.
The user interface is intuitive for any level of
user skill and experience.
Automatic sensor detection
The probe and meter will automatically recognize
the sensors that are connected. Any ports not
used on the probe did not have the parameter
displayed or configured.
Robust carrying case
The HI981954 gauge, probe and all accessories are supplied in a durable carrying case built to withstand years of use. The interior of the case is suitable for the safe transport and storage of all parts thanks to its precisely fitting shape.
